Introduction

There's a lot to be inspired by in Brewers24's 8-month journey from 190lbs to 196lbs. Though the improvement between the pictures may not be considered dramatic, his consistent workout routine and diet plan are something a lot of us can implement in our own fitness journeys.

Tips to achieve V-taper

In the Reddit thread, user hr_shovenstuff advised Brewers24 to build his lats and lateral delts to achieve a V-taper. Luckily, exercises like close grip bent over rows and pull downs with palms facing you works best.

Low lifting stats worth mentioning

In his post, Brewers24 acknowledged that his lifting stats weren't something to shoutout about. However, other commenters (Giggity_Guy, marsovec) reminded him to be proud of the progress he has made and the fact that he put in the work.

Brewers24's workout routine and diet plan

Brewers24 followed a program where he dedicated each day of the week to one muscle group, 6 days a week, with the 7th being hill sprints. His macros were not tracked strictly, but he consumed 300g of protein a day, 250 carbs, and 80g of fat, with a calorie range of 2,500 to 3,000 calories.

Abs training

One commenter pointed out that Brewers24 seemed to have low body fat in both pictures but asked why his abs looked much different in the second one. Brewers24 disclosed that he trained his abs 3 times a week for 10 minutes using an app with core exercises. He mentioned there may be better ways to train, but he liked having the app telling him what to do for how long.
