Introduction

One Reddit user known by the name xpqpqx, posted an active update of his weight journey between the months of September to December.

Workout routine

The user tried to follow his goal of working out every other day, starting the workout for an hour a day, later increased to 2-2.5 a day. He focused on hitting every muscle group with various machine and free-weight exercises. His leg day is once a week. He had begun with just trying to hit every muscle group he knew of with various machine and free weight exercises.

Diet plan

He had been following a simple yet adequate diet plan. He ate clean and had tracked his protein intake which was around 150 grams every day. As xpqpqx follows a mixed diet, he had oatmeal, boiled chicken with boiled rice and boiled chicken with macaroni. Additionally, he had steak with steamed vegetables, peanut butter and rice cakes, and bagels and cream cheese.

Supplements

The user took supplements such as C4 Pre-workout and whey protein shake post-workout or whenever necessary, as it helps reach about 150 grams of protein intake per day. He also took crushed creatine pills after workout or in the morning since he doesn't want to take pills in their original form.

Conclusion

Overall, it was just a short update from a dedicated fitness enthusiast with an active goal set. The results were noticeable. He had reached a maximum bench press of 205 lbs. He plans to reach his goal of 205 lbs and then lean down to 200 lbs. His example shows that anyone can achieve their fitness goals if they go about it with patience, dedication, and planning.
