Introduction

Losing weight is easy, but keeping that weight off is hard. WonderfooI, one of the many people who have taken on the challenge of losing weight, shared his story of how he achieved his desired weight in seven months. WonderfooI started his diet in January, and in seven months, he managed to lose 50 pounds. He then went on to build muscles while staying lean, and now his weight fluctuates around 175-188 pounds.

Diet vs. Exercise

WonderfooI believes that his diet was the key to success. He explains that it is essential to know what and how much one is consuming, and dieting should have a 90% adherence rate. According to him, it's okay to take a cheat meal or two every couple of months. He also points out that when it comes to weight loss, diet is more important than exercise.

Alcohol and Weight Loss

WonderfooI suggests that it is alright to consume alcohol while losing weight as long as one doesn't go overboard with it. However, it's a good idea to avoid alcohol while on a calorie deficit diet. He stayed away from alcohol because he wanted to consume nutrient-rich calories instead of empty calories.

Slow Bulking

WonderfooI follows a slow-bulking technique where he cycles his carbs and eats slightly above maintenance on workout days and slightly below maintenance on rest days. He also has a big refeed day once in a while where he eats 20-30% above maintenance. Additionally, he tracks his weekly progress to ensure that he is gaining muscle without adding too much fat. WonderfooI eats a personalized diet with a specific calorie intake and nutrient mix because he believes that everyone is different.

Conclusion

WonderfooI's testimony demonstrates that one can alleviate excess body weight by adjusting their diet and lifestyle. It proves that it is a practical and achievable goal that can benefit anyone who is determined to make a change. His story also shows that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to weight loss; people must experiment and find something that works well for them. Therefore, anyone who seeks to embark on the weight loss journey should learn to discover and devise their customized solution.
