The Start of the Journey

R3DBARONtv, a 22-year-old male, began his weight loss journey at a starting weight of 175lbs. Although he had a lean physique, he described himself as 'skinny fat'. In other words, he had little muscle mass and a high body fat percentage.

The Process of Weight Loss

R3DBARONtv started with a calorie deficit and a focus on macronutrients. He swapped his usual carb-heavy meals for healthier, protein-packed options. He also incorporated cardio and strength training into his daily routine. Over time, he lost 15lbs and hit his goal weight of 160lbs.

The Struggle to Maintain

However, R3DBARONtv found that maintaining his weight was a struggle. He started to lose muscle mass and became hesitant to continue his weight loss journey. In an effort to boost his confidence and bulk up, he began a bulking phase.

Bulking Phase

For the bulking phase, R3DBARONtv increased his caloric intake, focusing on nutrient-dense foods and hitting his protein intake. He continued his strength training regimen while incorporating compound lifts and progressive overload. Currently, he is back up to 165lbs and feeling confident with his progress.

Tips for Kickstarting Your Own Healthy Lifestyle

If you're looking to kickstart your own weight loss journey, start with a calorie deficit and a focus on macronutrients. Incorporate strength training into your routine to increase muscle mass and a healthy diet to fuel your workouts. Remember to be patient and consistent in your efforts!
