Introduction

Reddit user, uppercrust, shared his weight loss journey on the platform revealing how he lost 30 Lbs in just a few weeks. His post inspired many and drew a lot of positive comments and questions from fellow Reddit users.

The Journey

According to uppercrust, his journey began with calorie counting, carefully keeping his calorie count under 1660 calories daily. He also added 20-minute sessions on the elliptical trainer and bodyweight exercises such as lunges and squats into his regimen. In the subsequent weeks, he started running through the C25K program, discovered the Keto diet, and used macronutrient ratios to help him lose weight faster.

Adjustments

In the third week, he changed his diet by only eating fruits and vegetables for his carbohydrate intake, taking multivitamins, drinking protein shakes at least every other day, and targeting carb intake before and after runs. He started using barbell workouts and more intensive intervals in his cardio and lowered his calorie cap to 1500 calories.

Consistency

The last two weeks involved continuing his nutrition, running, and workout regimen, setting up a system that helped him maintain consistency. UpperCrust committed to a workout schedule of running a couple of miles on Mondays and Wednesdays, doing lite cardio and bodyweight workouts on Tuesdays, cardio and some barbells and planks on Thursdays, resting on Fridays, running hard 3-5 miles on Saturdays, and resting or doing quick 15-min jogs on Sundays.

Conclusion

Consistency and smart adjustments were the key to uppercrust's 30 Lbs weight loss success story. This journey may not work for everyone, but it's worth exploring or adjusting to suit individual preferences. It shows that with the right mindset, personal commitment, and a solid plan, weight loss can be achieved safely and sustainably.
