The Journey

Reddit user askthepoolboy posted his weight loss journey and received over 180 upvotes and tons of comments regarding his transformation. He lost 70 lbs in a year by changing his diet and routine.

The Diet

Askthepoolboy admits he didn't count calories, but he did change up his diet a lot. His breakfast usually includes oatmeal with flax seed, chia seeds, raspberries, a little granola, honey, and milk. His lunch is a unique concoction of an apple, crumbled boiled egg, uncooked garbanzo beans, sliced carrots, a little olive oil and grape juice. His snacks involve yogurt mixed with blueberries, chia seeds, ground flax, and sometimes mixed nuts. For dinner, he usually cooks chicken or pork in a crockpot and microwaves spinach and broccoli with a few almonds and a little olive oil on top.

The Routine

Askthepoolboy's workout routine changes every few weeks, but right now he does a full body routine 2-3 times a week and a Spartacus workout in between. He tries to run or bike a few miles, wakeboard at least once a week, swim as often as he can, do stuff around the house to keep moving, go surfing about once a week, and generally just try to have fun doing stuff away from his desk. He also limits his time on sites like Reddit and G+ to about an hour total each day.

The Outcome

Askthepoolboy's weight loss journey was a major success, and he received compliments left and right for his transformation. He inspires others to try out different diets and routines, but to also have fun doing it!

Conclusion

Askthepoolboy's weight loss success shows that changing your diet and routine can be rewarding for your health and physical appearance. It's about finding what works best for you and enjoying the process. Try out his diet and routine, or create one that works best for you. It's never too late to start!
