Introduction

Many youngsters want to add muscle mass and weight to their lean body. However, the journey can be challenging without a proper diet and regime. Recently, a Reddit user BUBBENSTEIN shared his inspiring journey of gaining 20 pounds in a year. His journey shows it is possible to gain weight and muscle by following a regular workout routine without changing the diet.

The Progress and Regime

BUBBENSTEIN, a 17-year-old, 5'10 tall young boy, went from 130 to 150 pounds in a year. He shared that he followed a basic three-day rotation routine that consisted of chest, triceps, and shoulder exercises on Monday, followed by back, biceps, and abs workout on Wednesday. He ended the week with cardio and legs exercise on Friday. Moreover, he did at least three different workouts per day and upped his workout days to six days eventually.

Motivation for Others

BUBBENSTEIN's journey is motivating for all the skinny boys out there who want to gain weight but find it challenging without a proper diet or an extensive workout routine. BUBBENSTEIN shared that, as he gained weight and muscle mass, his hunger increased naturally, and he did not make any changes to the diet.

No Diet Changes

BUBBENSTEIN emphasized that he did not make any diet changes throughout his weight journey. He stated that he only ate to fuel his body, ate three full meals, and healthy snacks in between. The key to his journey was discipline and hard work.

Conclusion

BUBBENSTEIN's journey shows that gaining weight and muscles is achievable with discipline, hard work, and a regular workout routine. However, he advises that everyone's body is different, and people should try different routines and find one that works for them. Moreover, he affirms that everyone should do it for themselves and not to please others.
