The Starting Point

FlyingMudBear started his weight loss journey in mid-October, weighing 193 pounds. However, within 2 months, he was able to cut down 19.6 pounds, bringing his weight down to 173.4 lbs. He used a digi-scale to keep track of his progress.

The Routine

FlyingMudBear followed the popular RPT (Reverse Pyramid Training) routine that consists of 3 workouts in a week. On Monday, he performed deadlifts and overhead press (OHP), while on Wednesday he did bench presses. He finished his week on Friday with squats, which he did until failure. For every exercise, he did 3-6 reps for the first set and 10%+1 rep for the second set.

Weight Loss Diet

FlyingMudBear was not strict with his diet but maintained a margin of error (+/- 5-10%) on his macros. He worked out on 190P/270C/50F and consumed 190P/0C/70F on rest days. On rest days, he hardly consumed any carbs. His estimated deficit was 3600 calories per week.

Aesthetic Results

As per the pictures he posted on his Reddit thread, it's clear that FlyingMudBear made some significant progress in terms of his physique. He also charted his strength progress, where he reported losing some accessory muscle groups but gaining endurance and stability on his posterior chain.

Conclusion

It's always inspiring to see real transformations and to follow the journey of others. If you're looking to get fit, be sure to consult with a nutritionist and trainer before starting. While FlyingMudBear's routine and diet may not suit everyone, it's always helpful to see what works for others and experiment accordingly.
