Rep

A rep, or repetition, is a term used to describe the completion of a single movement or exercise. In the context of fitness, strength training, and weight loss, a rep typically refers to the completion of one full range of motion of an exercise. For example, performing one squat from a standing position to a lowered position and back up to standing would be considered one rep of the squat exercise. The number of reps completed in a set, or multiple sets, often varies based on goals and fitness level.
