Introduction

Samd0tcom, a Reddit user, shares his weight loss journey over 4 months on the website. He utilized a combination of gym workouts and dietary adjustments to lose 15 pounds in that time frame.

The Workout

Samd0tcom went to the gym 3-5 times a week for an hour each session. He focused on building muscle mass by working out his upper body. With hard work, dedication, and consistency he saw results in a short period.

Dietary Changes

Samd0tcom made it a priority to cut out sugar from his diet. Instead, he consumed protein and vegetables mainly. He was aware of his carb intake but did not restrict it as much. Overall, his dietary changes were aimed at reducing body fat.

BMI vs. Body Fat Percentage

A Reddit user pointed out that the ultimate goal of achieving a BMI of 15-17 is not healthy. Samd0tcom agreed and realized that BMI is not a reliable measurement. Instead, they recommend measuring body fat percentage, which can be done using skin fold calipers.

Conclusion

Samd0tcom's journey is inspiring and shows that it is possible to achieve weight loss in a short period with dedication and hard work. Their experience also highlights the importance of being aware of your body and finding the right approach for you. Try new things and experiment to find what works best for you.
