Emily's progress

Emily's weight loss journey began when she decided to cut out sweets completely for a month and a half. After that, she lowered her caloric intake to around 1,400-1,500 calories a day, focusing on foods that provided sufficient protein and fiber. She also stuck to a strict limit of 25 grams of added sugar per day. Her consistent diet and exercise plan have enabled her to lose 34 pounds in just 8 months, which calculates to 0.97 pounds per week.

Emily's diet and exercise routine

After cutting out sweets, Emily ate a lot of peanut butter bread, fruits like apples, oranges, and blackberries, and drank only coffee, water, and milk. She went to the gym at least 3 times a week, doing 30 minutes of intense cardio and toning exercises on mats such as crunches and squats. Emily also has a rock climbing membership, which she uses 4-5 times a month. Her core exercise routine consisted of a lot of crunches and planks.
