Starting from rock bottom

Erica_ann was obese, weighing 190 lbs at just 5'2". But she didn't let this discourage her from setting the goal to lose weight and become healthier. She began by cleaning up her diet and incorporating more movement into her daily routine.

The power of clean eating

Erica_ann simply stuck to eating healthy whole foods and cutting out the junk food. This means incorporating fruits and veggies and reducing processed foods, and learning to appreciate the occasional treat without losing sight of her goals.

Exercise is key to success

Erica_ann was committed to working out for four days a week, though her activity was inconsistent. She relied on a mix of cardio and light weightlifting, which helped keep her on track, gave her more energy, and helped her maintain lean mass during her weight loss journey.

Keeping motivated

Erica_ann initially found motivation from her sister, who was also undergoing a weight loss journey. As she continued to see progress and results, she found the internal motivation to keep going strong. TikTok challenges, accountability groups, and support from friends and family also helped.

Progress, not perfection

Through perseverance, Erica_ann lost an impressive 38 lbs and gained a newfound sense of confidence and pride in her progress. Her journey proves that a commitment to healthy lifestyle changes - clean eating, exercise, and support - can make a difference for anyone seeking to lose weight and lead a healthy, balanced life.
