Introduction

Crisscross1985, a 28-year-old woman from Tallahassee, underwent an incredible transformation that left redditors amazed. From a weight of 285, Crisscross1985 lost 70 pounds in just 15 months through hard work and discipline.

Initial Struggle

Like many others, Crisscross1985 struggled with weight problems since childhood. Yo-yo dieting and other weight-loss fads proved ineffective, and by the time 2010 rolled around, she’d given up. But a positive change occurred when Crisscross1985 introduced yoga and started massage school the following year. The physical exertion required by massage school in combination with yoga was what initially led to the scaling down of her weight.

In time, Crisscross1985 shifted from a diet of processed foods and grains to a paleo diet. The change of meals was gradual, and weight loss results were positive. She continued complaining how no sooner did she finally buy jeans that would fit then they would be too big.

Crisscross1985 felt she could finally breathe as she could now bike, swim and walk for miles without worrying about exhaustion or getting home. She still plans to lose another 50 pounds in due time and will keep everyone posted on her progress.
