The Start of His Journey

A year ago, Josh-1209 had a wake-up call that changed his life. He was drinking 45 beers a week, and he knew he needed to stop. So he quit drinking and focused on his diet and exercise routine. He started by counting calories and staying in a deficit 90% of the time, and he worked out every single day.

Finding a Routine That Worked for Him

At first, Josh-1209 found counting calories too tedious and time-consuming, but he learned what foods he could eat and how much. He then switched to healthier alternatives and continued to work out 7 days a week. He did different routines every day depending on how he felt. Some days, he ran; others, he lifted weights. As long as he got an hour of exercise in every day, he was happy.

Maintaining His Weight Loss

Josh-1209 lost 49lbs in a year and has been maintaining his weight since January. He is happy with where he is now and hopes to inspire others to try things out for themselves. He's proof that with determination and perseverance, anything is possible.

His Sobriety and Mental Health Journey

Josh-1209's sobriety was a crucial part of his weight loss journey. He quit drinking and has been sober for 278 days. He also found that cardio exercises like running gave him a huge mood boost and mental clarity that he couldn't achieve with lifting. He's in a better place now and hopes his story can serve as inspiration to others.

Final Thoughts

Josh-1209's journey is proof that it's possible to turn things around. With dedication, anything is achievable. Counting calories and working out every day might seem straining at first, but it's essential to find a routine that works for you if you want to achieve your goals. Josh-1209 hopes his story inspires others to make the change for themselves.
