Introduction

LittleShlando’s weight loss journey began when he was at 180lbs and he decided to make a lifestyle change. In just a year, he lost 25lbs with a strict regimen of intense lifting, proper diet, and cardio.

Diet

For the first 6 months, LittleShlando followed a keto diet, after which he included protein shakes and protein bars, along with chicken, veggies, and whole grains for lunch. He counted calories and consumed 1800 calories a day to cut and 2400 calories to bulk up. He also advised running about 10 miles per week and included high reps/low weight lifts in his routine.

Workout

LittleShlando worked out 5-6 days a week with light cardio every day, and a heavier cardio routine when he was cutting. His lifting regimen consisted of single muscle groups with high reps and low weight integrated with cardio for staying in shape.

Changes

LittleShlando currently follows PPL(rest)PPL lifting regimen with higher weight and lower reps, along with calorie surplus to bulk up. He has made significant progress with a 225lb max bench and 300lb max deadlift. He also runs about once or twice a week to avoid joint pain while breaking up long runs into shorter distances.

Conclusion

LittleShlando’s journey is proof that consistency and dedication towards a healthier lifestyle can lead to desired results. He advises others to find their own way of staying active, and not to give up when they do not see immediate results.
