A year and a half of attempts

Libertinee had been struggling with her weight for a year and a half. Her highest weight was 188lbs, and she attempted to lose weight multiple times. However, it was not until her ex-boyfriend broke up with her due to her insecurity caused by being overweight that she finally found the motivation to really commit. Her lowest weight in the past 4 years before starting her journey was 128lbs, which she achieved through keto.

The power of starting now

While keto helped her lose the first 47lbs, Libertinee hit a plateau. Instead of giving up, she decided to take action and start lifting weights and running, realizing that the weight was slow to come off now. She took the attitude of "start now, not tomorrow because if you don't start now you won't ever." This allowed her to lose an additional 19lbs and get to a healthy BMI for her height of 5'3".

Lessons learned along the way

Libertinee struggled with disordered eating when she was previously tiny at 117lbs. Her insecurity caused her to balloon up when she started dating her ex. She is now learning to love her body for the first time and has turned to therapy and picking up old hobbies to help with this journey. Libertinee encourages others to see themselves now and not to be too hard on themselves. If she could go back in time, she would want to hug her 19-year-old self.

Inspiration for others

Libertinee's journey is inspiring to others. Her story proves that it is possible to change and love one's body. The power of committing and not giving up even when it gets hard is emphasized in Libertinee's journey. Additionally, she highlights the importance of therapy and making time for hobbies. She hopes her story can motivate others to start now and not be too hard on themselves.

Conclusion

Libertinee's weight loss journey was not an easy one, but through her commitment and attitude, she has managed to achieve a healthy BMI and learn to love her body. Her story is an inspiration for others who struggle with their weight, reminding them that it is never too late to start and make a change. Whether it's through keto, weightlifting, running, therapy, or hobbies, there are ways to get to a healthy weight and learn to appreciate one's body.
