Introduction

One Reddit user, alleywaysway, was struggling with her weight when she stumbled upon r/progresspics. She was inspired by the success stories and decided to take her weight loss journey into her own hands.

Diet and Exercise Routine

Alleywaysway ate a lot of eggs, chicken or lean meat, fruit, and veggies. She ate fruit in the morning with Steel Cut oatmeal, ate chicken breast and veggies for lunch, and cooked chicken/lean beef or pork/salmon for dinner with veggies. She mixed up seasonings so she didn't get bored. She also worked out with a personal trainer 2x a week and worked out 4x a week on her own. She continued to work out 6x a week, sometimes twice in one day, and recently started practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Weight Loss Progress

Alleywaysway started at 145lbs and reached 120lbs in 5 months. She lost 7% body fat within the first 2 months and estimates that she is close to 21% now. Her main goal is to lose her lower tummy fat and have a flat stomach, something she's never had her whole life. Although she'd like to be at 115lbs, she's more focused on body shape and remaining consistent with her workouts.

Motivation

Alleywaysway was inspired by r/progresspics and hopes that her own weight loss journey can inspire others. Her dedication and hard work show that weight loss is possible with a healthy diet and consistent exercise routine.

Conclusion

If you're struggling with weight loss, take some inspiration from alleywaysway's journey. Find a diet and exercise routine that works for you and stick with it. Remember that weight loss is a personal journey and progress takes time, but with consistency and dedication, you can reach your goals.
