Making the decision to start

For 20-year-old yangas00, the summer of 2019 was a turning point. Despite weighing 215lbs, he decided to take control of his health and began his journey towards a healthier body. This decision was inspired by a desire to feel better both mentally and physically.

Utilizing exercise as a tool

Yangas00 found his passion in climbing and running. He made it a habit to climb multiple times a week, while also incorporating 30-minute runs into his routine. Over time, he increased his endurance and strength, which led to a steady decrease in body weight.

Adopting healthy eating habits

In addition to his exercise routine, Yangas00 also made dietary changes. He began to eat more whole foods like fruits and vegetables, as well as lean proteins. By tracking his calorie intake using MyFitnessPal, he was also able to maintain a calorie deficit and lose weight.

Staying committed

Despite facing some setbacks and obstacles, Yangas00 never lost sight of his goals. He was determined and focused, which allowed him to stay committed to his routine. Sometimes, he had to make adjustments to his schedule, but he always made sure to stay active.

Advice for others

Yangas00's journey proves that motivation and hard work can lead to great success. He advises others looking to make a change to find an exercise they actually enjoy, as it makes sticking to a routine much easier. Additionally, tracking food intake can be a helpful tool for staying on track. Ultimately, it's important to remember that everybody's journey is different, and finding what works best for you is key.
