Introduction

Weight Watchers

MilkyMauiMomma started her weight loss journey with Weight Watchers in June 2012. Within a month, she realized that she needed to do more than just dieting, and she started using the treadmill for exercise. Gradually, she moved to running outside and enjoyed it.

Injuries

Despite having a torn MCL and a damaged meniscus, MilkyMauiMomma did not give up on running. She just had to be very careful during her runs outside. She can currently run about 3-4k.

Setting High Goals

MilkyMauiMomma's goal was to up her time and run more, but she was just happy that she was running. She started with a steep incline and then slowly leveled out the surface. She was gradually able to push herself to run better.
