Workouts and diet

British_Rover started with counting calories in mid-December but wasn't seeing much progress. He switched to Keto in mid-January and saw better results. He felt grumpy from being hungry but once he got over the Keto flu, the weight just started melting off. He started with Spartacus 3.0 workout at home with light barbells and slowly built up to running. He did some random ab workouts on off days and restarted his gym membership in April to do SL 5X5.

Progress

British_Rover started with being unable to run more than half a mile but gradually became able to do a 35-minute 5K. By May, he was doing duathlons and by June he did the 5K obstacle course in the top 9% overall. He plans to do a sprint Triathlon in the near future and hopes to be in the top 5% for the swim time, as he is a strong and experienced swimmer.

His journey of losing 48 lbs and running a 5K obstacle course in the top 9% overall serves as an inspiration to others who are on their own fitness journeys.
