F/23/5'2" [150lbs> 121lbs = 29lbs] Removed yesterday's post as I felt my progress was not clear enough. But it's the healthiest I've been since high school. Finally, in the health BMI RANGE LETS GOOOOO! I've been doing IF, dirty CICO and Intermittent Running. Also, this sub has been VERY HELPFUL.

Introduction

Losing weight can be a difficult journey, but with the right tools and motivation, it can be possible. For one Reddit user, dimp1001, losing 29 lbs and getting to a healthy BMI range has been a major accomplishment. In this article, we'll dive into the methods they used to achieve their weight loss goals.

The Methods

Dimp1001 used Intermittent Fasting (IF), dirty CICO (Calories In, Calories Out), and Intermittent Running to help shed the pounds. IF involves restricting eating to specific times of day, while CICO focuses on creating a calorie deficit by burning more calories than consumed. Intermittent running means running for short periods of time, with periods of rest in between, instead of one continuous run.

The Results

After using these methods, dimp1001 was able to lose 29 lbs, reaching a BMI in the healthy range. Even with cheat days, they were able to sustain their weight loss journey and not deprive themselves of foods they enjoy. This shows that moderation is key when it comes to successful weight loss.

BMI vs. Body Fat

One commenter advised dimp1001 to not take BMI too seriously as it may not be an accurate measure of body composition. However, dimp1001 acknowledged that BMI helped them lose weight and get to a healthy range. It's important to understand that BMI and body fat are different, and one may not be the best indicator of overall health. It's important to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the best method of tracking progress.

Conclusion

Dimp1001's weight loss journey is a great example of how dedication and the right tools can lead to success. However, it's important to note that everyone's journey is unique and what works for one person may not work for another. It's important to listen to your body and find a sustainable method that works for you. Remember, small steps can lead to big progress and moderation is key.
