Starting the Journey
Cosmic_Litter started their weight loss journey in the Fat Loss/Female category of BTFC 8. Beginning at 162 pounds at 5'2, they set a goal of losing 20 pounds in 12 weeks. Taking progress photos and tracking their food intake on MyFitnessPal, they kicked off their journey.
Dealing with Sugar Cravings
One of the challenges Cosmic_Litter faced was overcoming sugar cravings. They found that their secret weapon was eating a banana with almond butter whenever a craving hit.
Celebrating the Progress
As they lost weight, Cosmic_Litter celebrated their progress by buying new clothes that fit their changing body. They also found that they had more energy and enthusiasm as they became more fit.
Staying Motivated
One key to their success was staying motivated throughout the journey. They realized it was important to focus on health goals rather than just weight loss. For Cosmic_Litter, feeling and looking better were the motivation to keep going.
Tips for Trying It Yourself
If you're struggling with weight loss, consider tracking your food intake and taking progress photos. Find healthy snacks that work for you and utilize them as a way to overcome cravings. Celebrate your progress along the way and stay motivated by focusing on the benefits of a healthier lifestyle. Everyone's journey is different, but taking small steps each day can lead to big changes in the long run.
