Joining Weight Watchers

get2thePith credits Weight Watchers with helping him overcome a plateau he had reached. He had lost 20lbs on his own, but was stuck at 166lbs for a while when he joined the program. Through it, he learned how to make healthier choices, reduce portion sizes and track his progress.

Sharing Strategies

As get2thePith continues his journey, he shares his strategies of cutting calories, getting enough protein to feel fuller, drinking more water, and avoiding boredom eating. He also encourages other members to not give up and draw motivation from the group.

Community Support

Weight Watchers has worked for get2thePith not just because of the program but also because of the sense of community. Meeting with people who have similar goals has helped him stay motivated, and get tips and ideas. He describes his weigh-ins as nervously exciting and looks forward to sharing good news.

A Journey Confirmed

In just a few months, get2thePith loses 10 more pounds, slightly slower than his previous rate but still a progress. He confirms in a later post that he feels good, more active and healthy, and happy with his journey. Whether you are trying to lose a few pounds or more, motivation, encouragement, and community support can be key factors. Try the strategies get2thePith shares and see how they work for you.
