Introduction

College life can lead to unhealthy weight gain, impacting our self-esteem and health. Esal91, a 24-year-old female college graduate, felt embarrassed about her weight and so she decided to take action. She shares with us her impressive progress of losing 17 lbs in 5 months and inspires us to try things out for ourselves.

Breaking bad habits for good ones

Esal91 had to break some unhealthy habits to develop good ones. She cut out alcohol and junk food and started cooking her own meals while avoiding eating out. Her healthy eating habits, coupled with exercise, helped her burn off stubborn fat that had been affecting her face under and around her chin area.

Making time for exercise

Esal91 made sure to exercise for 5 days a week. While pursuing her graduate degree, she took every opportunity to walk, like parking her car far from class so she could walk for 20 minutes going to and from her classes. She did not make it to the gym every time, but she made sure to do something every day to be active. She motivated herself to do even simple exercises, such as 20 squats when time was limited.

Calorie count and proven results

Esal91 limited herself to a 1450 calorie diet and was consistent with it. Her hard work and dedication paid off when she lost a total of 17 lbs in 5 months. She noticed it especially in her face, where the stubborn fat had been affecting her confidence. By changing her lifestyle habits and maintaining a disciplined exercise routine, Esal91 proved that losing weight is achievable and fulfilling.

Takeaway

Esal91's amazing progress showed that the key to weight loss is perseverance and discipline. By replacing unhealthy habits with healthier ones, we can achieve our desired goals. We hope that her story motivates you to start your weight loss journey or continue doing the hard work towards your goals. Remember to keep a positive outlook and to be patient with yourself as the results will come!
