DarthDeadlift, a Reddit user, put in two and a half long years of hard work to achieve his goal – dressing up as Wolverine. His journey was far from easy. For a straight year, he almost gave up several times as he was not seeing the results he wanted.

DarthDeadlift concentrated on the heavy dead lifts and squats, admitting that dead-lifting was his favorite exercise. As for squats, he had to focus more on them as he had terrible form initially. His bench press currently stands at 225x3, his squat is 225x6 and his deadlift is an impressive 405x3.

DarthDeadlift’s weight gain journey saw him use Pro Complex Gainer for a year, which he liked, then moved to Serious Mass by ON which he loved. He didn't use any supplements anymore due to financial constraints.

The fact that he had a lot of stomach fat didn't discourage him as he could shed the weight easily. So, for the last year, he has been doing zero ab work, relying on deadlifts and squats to give him enough core work.

What can we learn from DarthDeadlift’s weight gain journey? It takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and the right diet to reach one’s goals. Bulking up is not easy, but it's doable. Anyone can achieve their desired body transformation by applying these same principles.
