Introduction

Jiggy_Piggy lost an incredible 93lbs in just four months using lazy Keto and hitting the gym three times a week. The changes were incredible! Before he had an unhealthy resting heart rate of over 100bpm on average with a blood pressure of 187/90 and has since stabilized to 60-70bpm and 120/80. It seemed impossible if we look at his Reddit post alone but it’s not impossible, and it is quite understandable if we examine his situation in depth.

Weight loss journey

Jiggy_Piggy's weight loss journey began at the end of December in 2014 when his friend had success doing the ketogenic diet. He directed Jiggy_Piggy to the sub and within four to five days of being in Ketosis, he had lost 28 lbs just by staying under 20g of carbs a day and eating a 1500cal diet. He continued to lose around 5-12lbs per week for the first couple of months. His success is due to the fact that the bigger you are, the more weight you can lose more quickly. It slowed down, however, once he got under 28% body fat, and it also came off in waves where he plateaued.

Diet and Exercise

Jiggy_Piggy did lazy Keto where he didn't count macros except in the last month or so where he started hitting the gym three times a week and became stricter with what he ate. As time went on, he became more active in sports and training for a 160km bicycle tour. He didn't use any substances other than a protein powder to help get his minimum amount required to retain the muscle he had as he was still eating deficiently. In his last two months, he began to go to the gym to do HIT and became more active in sports.

Results

Jiggy_Piggy's current progress is impressive, and he has slimmed down tremendously, from wearing men's size 48" pants to slimming down to 36". He also went from wearing 3XL shirts to comfortably wearing Large to XL. His resting heart rate stabilized, and his cholesterol became normalized, along with not being at high risk of becoming a diabetic anymore as it runs in his family. It's a fantastic success story and one that provides excellent inspiration.

Conclusion

Jiggy_Piggy’s weight loss journey is a remarkable one – a story of dedication, consistency, and hard work. It's an inspiration to anyone looking to lose weight or make positive changes to their lifestyle. It is worth remembering that weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint, and there are no shortcuts to sustained health gains. The journey is different for everyone, and what works for one person may not work for another. The key is to keep trying and find what works for your body. Consider using Jiggy_Piggy's story as a basis for inspiration as you seek to create a healthy lifestyle for yourself.
