SilasX93 went from 279 lbs to 192 lbs in just 4.5 months with the help of the keto diet and weightlifting regimen. The Reddit thread where he shared his journey has gained a lot of traction because of its impressive results. He credits his weightlifting job as a waiter for his physical activity level.

SilasX93 shares that he also previously lost weight from switching from XL to L shirts, but he made the mistake of immediately buying new clothes in a medium size, only to gain muscle and go back to L sizes. Financial constraints also made it difficult for him to buy new clothes, so he borrowed clothes and went thrift shopping instead.

SilasX93 was asked about his daily caloric intake while on the keto diet. He said he consumed around 600 to 900 calories a day, mostly meat, explaining how he lost his weight so fast with no cravings. He did experience a "keto flu" when starting the keto diet where he felt feverish for a few days, but it did not last long.

SilasX93's progress was remarkable, but someone asked him if he experienced any negative side effects. SilasX93 wasn't bothered by the prospect of having loose skin, which is a common concern among individuals that lose large amounts of weight quickly.
