Introduction

Some people struggle to gain weight as much as others struggle to lose it. Such was the case for this man who was underweight at 120 lbs. It took him three-and-a-half years to gain 60 lbs, with two years dedicated to serious lifting.

Gaining the First 30 lbs

During the beginning of his weight journey, this man dedicated himself to gaining as much weight as possible. He did this by eating anything and everything he could and lifting weights at home. In a year and a half, he gained the first 30 lbs. His diet was mostly comprised of fast food and junk, though he also drank several protein shakes per day.

The Importance of a Healthy Diet

Soon, the man realized that he needed to adopt a healthier and more structured diet. He cut out junk food and instead focused on lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. By doing so, he gained another 30 lbs with two more years of lifting. Aside from weight gain and increased strength, he also noticed improvements in his overall health and energy levels.

Cutting to Reveal Muscles

After his successful weight gain journey, the man decided to cut down to reveal the muscles he had gained. He started by doing cardio and lowering his calorie intake. Currently, he is one week into a cut and is continuing to lift weights to maintain his muscle mass while losing fat.

Conclusion: Trying it Out Yourself

Weight gain and weight loss journeys require patience, dedication, and a willingness to make lifestyle changes. While this man's journey may not be right for everyone, it offers inspiration for those looking to make positive changes in their own lives. As always, it is important to consult with a doctor or nutritionist before starting any weight loss or gain program.
