A tall girl's progress and journey

TallChick9, a 6'1" girl, took the initiative to become confident about her body, leading to her weight loss journey. Through a combination of eating healthy and working out, she has managed to lose 6 lbs over 2 and a half months.

Tips for building muscle mass

To answer broliv's query about whether she plans on building more muscle mass, TallChick9 said she would focus on building up her arms, shoulders and calves. A suggestion was made to consume adequate amounts of protein in her diet to help with building muscle mass. However, another user suggested that she should focus less on protein and more on calorie intake and MACROS. Consuming enough carbs, fats and protein at the right times can significantly help in effort to build muscles while still losing fat.

Suggestions for leg workout

TallChick9 already had enviable legs when she started her weight loss journey, but she has been working on improving them further with workouts such as squats, deadlifts, leg curls, and lunges. She also added that cycling had helped her in targeting her thigh muscles while keeping the fat off.

Bodybuilding's BodySpace app to track workout progress

TallChick9 shared that she used Bodybuilding.com initially to find a workout that suited her, and found out about the BodySpace app which allows users to easily keep track of their workout routines and progress. Find what workout suits you, and track your progress (progress pictures are great) from day 1 through your Weight Loss journey.

Stay motivated and confident

It’s important for everyone's mental, emotional and physical health to keep striving and keep the momentum flowing, regardless of the amount of weight they want to lose. It is key to keep your daily motivation, and know what your intentions are, and how hard you're willing to work towards your fitness goals. TallChick9 has gained confidence and progress through her journey, motivating her and inspiring others that want to start their weight loss journeys to aim for the best version of themselves.
