Introduction

Weight loss is never easy but it's definitely worth it. One Reddit user lacompudy shared his NSFW photos showing his dramatic weight loss journey from 258 to 157 lbs in just 14 months. With his determination and consistency in following a diet and exercise plan, he finally reached his desired weight and proudly shared it with his Reddit community.

Lowering Caloric Intake

According to lacompudy, the first step he took was to count his calories using MyFitnessPal. He reduced his daily caloric intake by 400 calories less than his maintenance level. This helped him lose weight consistently without feeling deprived of food.

Weightlifting and Cardio

Next, he adopted a workout routine that involved weightlifting and cardio. He lifted weights and did 30 minutes of cardio after the weights. He followed Zzyz's Bodybuilding Bible to get started.

The Keto Diet

In June, he switched to the ketogenic diet and found it effective. He cut down on carbs and followed the guidelines closely. He mentioned that it was a great decision and saw quick results. At the gym, he opted for cardio acceleration instead of running.

Continuing the Journey

Although he has lost 101 pounds, lacompudy still considers himself a work in progress. He still wants to lose another 17 pounds to achieve his goal of having abs. He advises others to ignore negative opinions and stay focused on their goals. Losing weight is possible with consistency and determination.
