Introduction

HarmonyKitten's 100lb weight loss journey is truly inspiring. Through her Reddit posts, we'll discuss her journey and offer tips and tricks to help anyone else trying to lose weight.

Starting Her Journey

HarmonyKitten started her journey at 383lbs and initially struggled to lose weight. It took years for her to see significant progress. However, through her perseverance, she began to make lifestyle changes.

Diet Changes

HarmonyKitten cut out all soda/sugar-based drinks, limiting her drink intake to just water, coffee, or tea. She cut out most of her carb intake, with the exception of when she has something that requires bread, such as a hot dog, hamburger, etc. She increased her fruits and veggies intake, which had not been a priority before.

Exercise Routine

She started to exercise regularly, running 10km 3-4x per week and taking her dogs for long walks when the evening cools down. Besides the physical changes, she noticed an improvement in her range of motion and overall happiness.

Conclusion

HarmonyKitten's journey taught us that even if you don't see progress as quickly as you'd like, being committed to making changes to your diet and exercise can make a difference over time. By keeping at it, and increasing your fruits and veggies intake, limiting your soda/sugar-based drinks, and increasing your exercise, similar results could be achievable for anyone who tries.
