Initial Weight Loss

After reaching his heaviest weight of 240lbs, Reddit user TheBiggieG started his weight loss journey. He attributes his initial success to monitoring his caloric intake and increasing his physical activity. As a college student, he would walk to class and use the school gym. He also made healthier food choices and avoided sugary drinks.

Reaching the Goal

TheBiggieG eventually achieved his goal weight of 180lbs. However, he didn't stop there. He continued to exercise regularly, but started eating more and didn't monitor his caloric intake as strictly. This resulted in him regaining some weight, bringing him up to 195lbs.

Trying Something New

TheBiggieG tried a new method to continue his weight loss journey - intermittent fasting. He ate during an 8-hour window and fasted for the remaining 16 hours. This method helped him lose weight and reduced his cravings for unhealthy foods. He also continued to exercise regularly by lifting weights and playing basketball.

The Importance of Support

During his weight loss journey, TheBiggieG found support from his friends and family, who encouraged him to continue and celebrated his successes. He also found motivation through online communities, like Reddit. He encourages others on a weight loss journey to find a support system and to not be too hard on themselves if they experience setbacks.

Continuing the Journey

Although TheBiggieG has regained some weight, he remains determined to reach his ultimate goal. He plans to continue intermittent fasting and exercise regularly, while also being mindful of his caloric intake. His journey serves as an inspiration to others, showing that weight loss is possible with dedication and support.
