Chrisbishyo, a Reddit user, recently shared his inspiring journey of shedding 65lbs, going from 265lbs to 200lbs over one year. Through his posts and comments, we learn about how he lost his extra weight and improved his self-esteem.

From Junk Food to a Healthy Lifestyle

Before his weight loss journey, Chrisbishyo spent his entire day playing video games and eating junk food. Realizing he needed to make a change, he quit gaming and started to focus on his fitness. To begin with, he challenged himself to work out every day for 30 minutes, gradually increasing the intensity and duration of his routine.

Positive Feedback and Compliments

Getting support and encouragement from his social circle helped Chrisbishyo to stay motivated throughout his journey. He posted his progress regularly on Reddit, getting compliments and positive feedback from the community. Even the occasional humorous comments like “Not gay, but…” were taken as compliments and further boosted his confidence.

Different Bodies, Different Weights

One thing that attracted comments was his somewhat larger appearance at 260lbs as compared to others at this weight. One user was 282 lbs, but their body didn't look the same. It is because two people with the same weight can have more or less fat than each other. It is essential to focus on your body and not worry about how others look. Everyone has a unique journey.

Trying It Yourself

Everyone's weight loss journey is unique, but Chrisbishyo's story shows that grit and determination can go a long way in achieving weight loss goals. Start small if it's hard for you to get started. Find a physical activity you enjoy and stick to a healthy diet. Share your progress and look for support to keep moving forward.
