Introduction

Lifestyle changes are never easy to make, but with determination and discipline, goals can be reached. One such individual that demonstrated a determined attitude is jkt720, a Reddit user who achieved a 15lb weight loss in 12 months.

Workout Regime

Jkt720 initially followed a "bro split" workout regime for five days a week. In September of that year, he switched to the PHAT workout for five days a week. Then, he started to focus on increasing his lifts and considering powerlifting, so he started Jonnie Candito's 6-week powerlifting program. His workout sessions typically last about an hour to an hour and a half.

Healthy Diet

Along with his workout regime, jkt720 started a healthy diet plan. At the start of his journey, he weighed 195lbs and was in full dirty bulk mode until December. From January 2014, he started to implement a healthier diet to reduce his weight back to the 170s. He plans to lose another 10-12 pounds in total and recomp before the summer.

Jkt720's Success

Jkt720's workout and diet plan have allowed him to reach his weight loss goals successfully. He concentrated on upping the weight for each body part twice a week, leading to a well-developed chest. As his Reddit post indicated, his posture and muscle definition improve significantly from the start of his journey.

Conclusion

Lifestyle changes take time and persistence. Like jkt720's journey, a healthy diet plan and workout regime can produce fantastic results. In addition, it provides a new world of challenges for individuals in the fitness world. Success stories such as this should inspire others to actively pursue their journey to a healthier body.
