Introduction

Many of us struggle to lose weight, and sometimes strict diets don't help. But one Reddit user, wickedbyname, made a difference.

Exercise routine

Wickedbyname's weight loss journey involved getting up and exercising; they tried to be as active as possible, without the use of diets. They went to the gym a minimum of four times a week, doing 60 minutes of intense cardio each time.

No diets or clean eating

Wickedbyname didn't follow any strict diet or clean eating habits. They only tried to be more mindful of when they felt full, avoiding overeating. They still ate everything they wanted without giving up on any specific food groups or counting calories.

Continued progress

Although the user’s weight loss recently stalled, they are still happy and content with their results. They had decided to amend their eating habits slowly, adopting cleaner eating habits. The user’s eyes are always on the prize of feeling happy with the person they see in the mirror.

Final thoughts

Wickedbyname proved that adamant exercise routines with a determination to be more mindful while eating could make a difference while losing weight. It’s essential to be kinder to oneself, both when losing weight and during any struggle in life. Great things can happen without the need for extreme measures. Everyone is unique, but it is okay to take inspiration from others and try it out for oneself.
