Beginning of the Journey

At the young age of 23, the Reddit user pearlxzildjian weighed 395lbs. He had always been heavy, but he made a conscious decision to lose weight which did not start until 2013. During this year, he went from 390 to 350 lbs in five months. For those that struggle with their weight, this is an incredible accomplishment.

Slow Progress

After 2 years and 3 months of hard work, pearlxzildjian went from 395 to 316 lbs. Although some may consider this to be slow progress, it is still progress. He did not let the rate at which he lost weight hinder him mentally or give up on his goal. In fact, he even started strength training to tighten his loose skin which he says has been working great.
