Starting the Journey

At the age of 21, Reddit user shesabsurd had hit her highest weight of 198lbs. Despite stepping on a scale following spring break in 2011 and seeing the numbers, she did not feel motivated to get healthy. However, a personal challenge to eat only peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for one month resulted in a 20lbs weight loss and pushed her to make positive changes.

Veganism and Exercise

shesabsurd went vegan as another challenge in October 2012, combining this with running, swimming and yoga to maintain her weight loss.
