Introduction

Bel3n_r, a Reddit user, posted about her impressive body recomposition journey on r/progresspics. She underwent a year of hard work and dedication, transforming her body from 128lbs to 125lbs, and achieving visible abs and toned arms and legs.

Diet

Bel3n_r achieved her body recomposition by doing a period of caloric deficit and another of volume. She calculated her maintenance calories to be 2,300, so she did a deficit with 1,700 and a bulking stage where she reached over 3,000. She prioritized eating protein the most, and tracked her macros, aiming for 4 grams of carbohydrates per kilo, 2.2 grams of protein per kilo of target weight, and 0.5 grams of fat per kilo.

Workout Routine

Bel3n_r's training routine consists of 5 days a week of weight training, specifically targeting different muscle groups. Of those days, two are for hamstrings and gluteus, one for quadriceps, one for shoulders and triceps, and one day for back and biceps. Additionally, she does cardio every day for 40 minutes.

Maintenance and Progress

Bel3n_r's journey was not easy, but it resulted in a successful body recomposition. She had to be patient and observe week by week how her body progressed. She stopped her deficit period when she could already see her abs and the veins in her arms marked, and transitioned to a maintenance diet. Now she's looking for just a little more definition, and then plans to continue in maintenance, since improvements are still seen but slower.

Conclusion

Bel3n_r's success story is a testament to how hard work and dedication can result in an impressive body transformation. While her diet and workout routine may not work for everyone, her story can inspire others to try things out for themselves, and to seek out what works best for their bodies to achieve their body recomposition goals.
