Starting off slow: Gradual Increase in Exercise with Walking and Biking

Cuntess started her weight loss journey after giving birth to her daughter in April of 2012. As someone who thought she could do more than she should, she started off slow. She began with walking, gradually increasing the distance. It was then followed by biking, with a usual ride of around 10-11 miles, mostly on a flat surface. When winter came, her father gave her his old elliptical, so she used that for her workouts.

Challenging Herself Gradually Through C25k Programs

Cuntess suggested that pacing oneself is crucial in getting better at exercises. She started off with a C25k program which she later recommended after her experience. Her first 5k was an amazing experience but her running capacity back then was not great. It took her more than 20 minutes to run one mile, and now she can run an 11-12 minute mile with practice. She encourages slow and gradual improvement, and shows that progress is more important than speed.

Cultivating an Engaging and Supportive Community

What made Cuntess' incredible story even more special was the kind of community that supported and encouraged her throughout the journey. From individuals who showed admiration through comments and upvotes to those who asked for helpful tips and inputs, she had a group of people who genuinely wanted to see her succeed. It brought her comfort and reassurance knowing how people's kind words could affect someone's day positively.

Self-Love, Discipline, and Patience on the Weight Loss Journey

Losing weight is a difficult process that requires self-love, discipline, and patience. Cuntess' weight loss journey exemplified these traits, showing that slow progress is still progress. What sets her apart is her ability to accept the current reality while working towards a better future. She did not get discouraged when she encountered setbacks, but used them as an opportunity to learn and improve further.

Cuntess' Experience: Going Beyond the Numbers

Cuntess, who weighed 357lbs at her heaviest, lost 150lbs and is determined to lose 60 more pounds. Despite the physical changes evident in her progress photos, she revealed that health goes beyond just the numbers. It is about how one's mind perceives and reacts to their surroundings. She encourages people to recognize that everyone is built differently and holds weight differently. She advises them to start their weight loss journey slowly, with patience and self-love, and reach out to a supportive community for added motivation.
