Introduction

Weight loss and gaining muscle is a journey that requires determination, consistency and patience. Today, we will talk about u/PuppelTM's inspiring journey of losing 35 lbs and gaining muscle in 15 months.

The Journey

PuppelTM started his journey in March 2021, and within 2 months, he lost 12 kg. He then continued his journey to lose another 10 kg until December. Afterward, he gained around 5kg of muscle. He avoided fast food as much as possible and trained both cardio and weightlifting 4 times a week. Even though his diet wasn't great after the second month of weight loss, he tried to push himself hard during cardio, which really helped him.

The Stubborn Areas

PuppelTM was able to lose a remarkable amount of weight, but he still had some stubborn areas around his waist and lower back that seemed impossible to get rid of. As BareezyObeezy noted, everyone has areas of fat that are stubborn. But, if you keep in a caloric deficit, you'll eventually see results.

How Long Did it Take?

To reach his current weight, it took PuppelTM 2 months. However, to gain his current muscle mass, which isn't much, it has taken him over a year. He became inconsistent once he hit his normal weight, so he hasn't made much progress in the last 12 months. Regardless, his entire journey took 15 months, but only the first 5 months were consistent.

Conclusion

PuppelTM's journey shows that weight loss and gaining muscle require perseverance, motivation, and consistency. His journey won't be the same as yours, but hopefully, it can inspire you and give you an idea of what you can achieve if you put in effort and stay consistent. Try out different things for yourself and find out what works best for you. Remember, it takes time, so be patient with yourself and stay motivated!
