Introduction

A woman on Reddit with the username TangerineBusy9771 has shared her journey of losing fat and building muscle after gaining weight during her junior year of college. She has lost 10 lbs in four years and has made great progress in reshaping her body.

Workout Routine

TangerineBusy9771 says that she mixes up her workout routine every few months, but currently focuses a lot on kettlebell work and strength training with the barbell. She doesn't follow the conventional split days, but instead does a lot of full-body exercise for strength and conditioning.

Exercise Tips

One person in the comments asked TangerineBusy9771 about her back exercises. She replied that she does a lot of shoulder work such as military presses, along with different types of lat pulldowns and pull-ups. These exercises have helped her develop her traps/ rhomboids. When asked about her arm exercises, she replied that she just does the basic stuff like bicep and tricep curls and pushups. She stated that she has the genetics to build a decent upper body.

The Importance of Maintenance

TangerineBusy9771 stated that rather than bulking or cutting, she prefers to stay in maintenance. She recently cut for a few months from January to March to lean out a bit more. She seems to focus more on keeping up with healthy habits.

Conclusion

TangerineBusy9771's posts show that weight loss and body re-composition takes time and effort, but the results can be amazing. Her approach to exercise varies, but always keeps her full-body strength and conditioning as the key focus. She emphasizes that everyone should try things out for themselves and experiment with different types of exercise to determine what works for them.
