The Battle with Anxiety

Pancolea had struggled with anxiety and taking pictures of herself at her heaviest, making it challenging to document her progress. But through dedication and discipline, she was able to celebrate a massive milestone: losing 63lbs after a year.

Her Routine

Pancolea lost her weight by adopting CICO or Calories In, Calories Out diet, coupled with an exercise routine consisting of daily hikes. She explained that doing things you enjoy is crucial to stay motivated throughout the journey.

Calorie Counting

In the beginning, Pancolea aimed for 1350 calories, but she will sometimes go less or more than that number. Now, she's doing 1200 calories daily to lose her last few pounds before moving to maintenance. It was suggested in the comments to do different calorie counts depending on the day 'zig-zagging' to get past plateaus.

Last Few Pounds

Pancolea mentioned that losing the last few pounds is one of the hardest things to do. Still, with the right mindset and diligence, it is possible to reach your goals. Some advice was given to try to determine your body fat percentage, which would explain why it's challenging to lose the last few pounds, as there is not much excess fat left to lose.

Closing Thoughts

Pancolea's progress is an inspiration for anyone struggling with their weight loss journey. Her shift to a healthy lifestyle by watching what she eats, and exercising has helped her achieve success. It shows that adopting a practical, enjoyable weight-loss routine, together with your determination, anything is achievable. Try it out for yourself and see.
