The secret weapon to sustainable weight loss

Agonz18 found that the secret weapon in her weight loss journey was powerlifting. This activity provided her with a healing and non-judgmental space where she could progress and execute movements regardless of her weight. By discovering the right kind of exercise, you can make it last long-term.

Calorie deficit with a focus on protein and satiety

Agonz18 worked with a dietitian initially to help her lose the weight, but now focuses on protein intake and satiety factors, gradually reducing her calorie intake to 2000 calories. She suggests that it takes time but encourages everyone to try, and you get more confident with practice.

Combining HIIT and 10k steps with powerlifting

Agonz18 aims to lower her resting heart rate through her current routine, which includes heavy conditioning blocks, HIIT work 1-2 times a week, and reformer Pilates 2 times a week.
