Introduction

Live_Length_5872, a Reddit user, shared her weight gain journey to inspire others to achieve their health and fitness goals. She gained 30lbs after having a baby and lifting weights, and after 10 years, her metabolism has improved.

Exercise Routine

Her exercise routine consisted of heavy hip thrusts, weighted walking lunges, weighted back extensions, lat pulldowns, compound rows, decline sit-ups with weight, overhead presses, step up knee raises with weight, atomic sit-ups with weight, and the stair master. She did this routine 4-5 days a week, but recently ramped it up to 6 exercises 4-5 days a week.

Diet

She claims to have been lucky to never have to watch her diet, but started intermittent fasting recently to gain control. Since she had a habit of binging at night, she wanted to change that and IF seemed like a good solution.

Glute Workouts

She recommends Bret Contreras on IG, who is super educated on glute stuff. Heavy hip thrusts, weighted walking lunges, weighted back extensions, squats, and deadlifts were some of the glute exercises she did to achieve her gains.

Conclusion

Live_Length_5872's journey is proof that it's never too late to start taking better care of your health and fitness. With the help of an exercise routine and a more controlled diet, you too can achieve your fitness goals. Try experimenting with different workouts and changing your diet to see what works best for you.
