Pregnancy Weight Gain

After struggling with health complications during pregnancy, Reddit user eehttofu gained a lot of weight and wasn't able to lose it as she was breastfeeding and recovering. Eventually, she realized it was time to get in shape and get healthy.

Starting the Journey

To start her journey to a healthier lifestyle, eehttofu got a gym membership and started meal planning. This helped her lose around 30lbs, but then COVID hit and she gained some weight back. However, she was determined to continue on her path to a healthier lifestyle.

Healthy Habits and Therapy

Over a year ago, she started making some serious changes in her life. She quit drinking anything but water and coffee, cut out sweets, and changed her meal schedule. She started taking her mental health seriously and getting treatment for ADHD. Implementing these healthy habits, along with therapy, helped eehttofu see drastic differences in her physical and mental health.

Slow and Steady Progress

Although it wasn't easy and there were months with no progress, eventually, she saw the difference these changes were making. She was able to keep up with her kids, go hiking with them again, and play soccer with them. While she's still got some weight she'd like to lose, eehttofu is now at a healthy place in her life, and she's not stressing about her weight anymore.

Inspiring Others

Eehttofu's story has inspired many others on Reddit, like katiehebs, who commented on her progress. Eehttofu's advice to take things slow and steady, and remember that everyone has their timeline, is the perfect reminder that, with perseverance and healthy habits, anyone can make big changes in their lifestyle.
