Introduction

MrOberbitch, a 21-year-old Reddit user, shares his impressive weight gain journey of 57 pounds within six months. Despite being skinny for most of his life, MrOberbitch made a solid workout and dietary routine to overcome this. In this article, we take a closer look at his journey, including his workout plan, diet, and supplements he used.

Diet

MrOberbitch did not count calories, but instead ate when he felt hungry and avoided overeating. For the first two to three months, he followed a bulking diet and consumed around 100-200 grams of protein daily through protein shakes.

Workout Plan

MrOberbitch exercised five times a week, with Pull on Mondays and Thursdays, Push on Tuesdays and Fridays, and Legs & Abs on Wednesdays. His Pull exercises included 5x5 LH Deadlift, 3x5 Biceps Curls, 3x8 LH Rowing, and 3x8 Hammer curls followed by Push exercises, including 5x5 LH Flat Bench, 3x6 LH Triceps Extensions, 3x6 KH Flat Bench, 3x8 KH Triceps Extensions, and 3x8 KH Chest Flys.

Supplements

MrOberbitch used 10g of creatine and 1440mg of ecdysterone daily. He started using the ecdysterone supplement only two weeks before the Reddit post and planned to use it for a total of 8 weeks. However, we suggest that everyone consult their doctor before using any supplements.

Conclusion

MrOberbitch's weight gain journey proves that a proper workout plan, diet, and regular exercise can help anyone gain weight in a healthy way. However, it is important to remember that everyone is different and what worked for one person may not work for others. So, try out different things and see what works best for you.
