F/26/5’3” [295lbs > 220lbs = -70lbs] (Since May this year) I’ve slowed down a lot since Thanksgiving and wanted to share somewhere as a marker in time since I’m choosing not to share with friends or family quite yet. Getting back on the ball this week! ☺️

The Journey Begins

Since May of this year, a Reddit user known as bigdamnshinyhero started her weight loss journey, and today it's evident that she has lost a considerable amount of weight. From 295lbs, she now weighs 220lbs or a difference of -70lbs. Her post serves as a celebration but also as a marker in time.

The Progress Slows Down

After Thanksgiving, bigdamnshinyhero noticed that her progress in weight loss has slowed down. However, she remains motivated and plans to get back on track. She received words of encouragement and appreciation from other Reddit users who commend her for her impressive feat.

The Importance of Walking and Low-Carb Diet

Bigdamnshinyhero started her transformation as a nanny, walking around for up to three hours with a colicky infant. She attributes her weight loss to this daily routine of walking and a low-carb diet. It didn't have to be keto or calorie counting. Instead, she learned to listen to her body's signals.

A Surprising Reveal

Bigdamnshinyhero hasn't told her friends or family yet about her weight loss journey. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it hasn't been easy to see them since she got married in May, and her before picture was taken around that time. She plans to surprise them when visits become possible. Nevertheless, she intends to post once she hits the 100lbs mark.

Stay Motivated

Bigdamnshinyhero's transformation is a testament that weight loss isn't always about extreme measures like surgery. It's about finding what works best for you, listening to your body, and staying consistent. If you want to start your own transformation, remember that every journey is different. There's no one-size-fits-all approach to weight loss. The key is staying focused on your goals, and you'll get there eventually.
