After hitting rock bottom due to a high-stress job, Reddit user notagan decided to take control of his weight and health. At 26 years old, 5'11" and weighing 220lbs, notagan knew he had to make a change. The user started his weight loss journey by controlling his diet and incorporating some cardio exercises, which helped him lose weight slowly and consistently.

For the first year, notagan mainly focused on his diet, slowly working his way down to a diet that he could consistently follow. Starting in October of the second year, notagan fell in love with bodybuilding and began weightlifting six times a week. Currently, notagan trains chest, triceps, and shoulders on one day, back and biceps on another, and legs on the third day.

After two years, notagan was able to lose 37lbs and gain muscle mass by weightlifting. Notagan's current lifts include a 450lb squat, 285lb bench, and an unknown deadlift. However, notagan was also diagnosed with hypogonadism, which caused low testosterone levels. After trying to increase the levels naturally, notagan started TRT and was able to keep the levels at 960ng/dL.

Although notagan went through a difficult period, it is clear that he was able to turn his life around and become a healthier person. Through diet and exercise, notagan was able to achieve his weight loss goals and improve his physical fitness. Notagan's journey shows the importance of taking control of your health and making positive changes in your life.

While notagan's weight loss journey is unique to him, there are things that others can learn from his experience. Whether it's controlling your diet, incorporating cardio exercises, or weightlifting, finding a way to make positive changes for your health is important. It's never too late to start living a healthier lifestyle - if notagan can do it, so can you.
