CBMcC, a 31-year-old male who stands at 6 feet and 4 inches tall, recently shared his experience on Reddit on how he lost 60lbs in just five months. CBMcC's inspiring story is a testament to how making several significant changes in one's lifestyle could lead to significant progress in weight loss.

CBMcC's journey to weight loss began with intermittent fasting, starting with 18/6, and later, transitioning to One Meal a Day (OMAD) for more than a month. Additionally, he drank plenty of water and made sure that he slept for 8-10 hours every night. Outside of his eating window, he drank a lot of water and avoided drinking alcoholic beverages.

CBMcC's primary exercise was running. For four months, he ran between 5-7 miles every morning. He also works in construction, which in itself could be considered a form of exercise. However, he recently felt that running had taken a toll on his joints, so he joined a gym to start working on toning his body.

Despite being a beginner in weight training, CBMcC started working out at the gym, doing lighter weights with more reps, and focusing on cardio to complement his weight training.

CBMcC's weight loss journey demonstrated that one does not need to follow a rigid fitness routine to achieve significant weight loss. It is also important to note that the journey towards reaching a healthy weight is unique to different individuals. With commitment and consistency, anyone can start making small changes in their lifestyle, just like CBMcC did, and celebrate when they achieve great results.
