Starting My Journey

At 169 pounds and standing at 5'5", I knew it was time for a change. Frustrated with failed weight loss attempts in the past, I turned to Reddit for support and guidance. I knew I needed to make a permanent shift in my lifestyle to achieve lasting results.

Setting Goals and Tracking Progress

With the support of the Reddit community, I set goals and began tracking my progress. I found that documenting everything, from my daily calorie intake to my exercise routine, provided motivation and helped me stay accountable.

Learning from Setbacks

There were setbacks on my journey, but I realized the importance of not giving up. Instead, I used these moments to learn from my mistakes and adjust accordingly. Consistency was key and it was important to give myself grace on the days I struggled.

Mindset Shift and Success

As I continued on my weight loss journey, I noticed a shift in my mindset. It was no longer just about the number on the scale, but about how I felt mentally and physically. I found success in setting non-scale victories and celebrating my progress, no matter how small.

Lessons Learned and Moving Forward

Throughout my journey, I have learned the importance of discipline, consistency, and self-love. It hasn't been easy, but the support of the Reddit community and my own perseverance has helped me make significant progress. I encourage anyone on their weight loss journey to try out different approaches and to embrace the lessons learned along the way.
